We were excited to launch the photo/video widget and add Silverlight support to Skyfire without a client upgrade. These additions gave our users the ability to watch any of the 2200+ hours of Olympic coverage provided by NBC.

Better Video
We’ve heard the cries in the forums saying video is choppy and we tweaked the minimum framerate from our initial launch in January. If you have 3G data connections or wifi, you should see significant improvement in video. Of course, smooth video playback on low bandwidth connections is still a challenge and we will continue to improve this with each release.
Beta 2 Complete!
All registered Beta 2 users in the U.S. have been sent their invitation to download our browser. We are scaling strong and thrilled with all of the feedback that we are receiving in the forums, keep it coming!
